Georgia girl living in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. I work as a concierge at a retirement community which alternates between being very fulfilling and extremely stressful.

I'm not a social butterfly, so meeting new people is often difficult for me. It takes a long time for me to warm up to people and get to know them. Having said that, I'm not opposed to making new friendships - they just have to be open-minded individuals and not be full of bullshit.

I'm into literature, cinema, theater, art, poetry, spending time with my friends, travel, nature, and pretty much all things gothic, fantasy or mystical.

I enjoy learning about other cultures. I would love to travel the world but I lack the money to be the jet-setter that I would like to be.

I'm a self confessed book nerd and movie geek. The Lord of the Rings is my top pick for both of these. I consider the books/movies to be some of the most awesome things in the universe.

Lately I've also been reading lots and lots of comic books and manga.

I have mad love for hot goth guys, hardcore metal dudes, and cute geek boys. I've always thought that nothing beats a man with long hair. Androgyny also scores points with me. I have apparently also developed a taste for pretty Asian men. I blame all the Asian music I've been listening to and the Asian tv/dramas I've become addicted to. ;)

Music owns my soul. I cannot go a single day with listening to something. I listen to basically everything but I LOVE rock, punk and metal. \m/ (I guess you can add cheesy Asian pop to that now. lol)
